SimMaster of the Month: January 2006

Get to know the site moderators! The Sims 2 community is large and growing. We have some fabulous moderators on the site who help other simmers in need, keep things running smoothly, moderate the boards, and help enforce the rules that Maxis has set up. Our SimMasters are players just like you. Each month we'll be asking one of our SimMasters some questions so you can get to know them better.

This month we talk to January's SimMaster of the month, the magnanimous and equitable SimMasterDemos!

Hi SimMasterDemos. How long have you been a SimMaster?
Since June of 2005. Somehow, it feels like longer ;-)

What is your favorite part of the Sims 2?
Sims are so quirky and their interactions with eachother truly crack me up. The game packages such a great sense of humour and I can't get enough of it! The Sims 2 has managed to make everyday routines seem both interesting and enjoyable. I think that's just awesome.

What is your favorite thing about being a SimMaster?
The power, of course! Just kidding (but not really). Honestly, I would have to say my favorite thing has been getting to know the community and the people that frequent here. I adore the other SimMasters and they're such a supportive group of people! It's like having a little internet family.

What is one thing you've learned from being a SimMaster?
That you can't please everyone. There is always someone that will disagree with any decision you make. The important thing is to stick to your guns. In the long run, you have to trust your better judgement.

Do you play with cheats or not?
Ok, I totally do. I try not to! Really! But darn that maxMotives cheat. It's so easy to just pull up the little window and type that in.

Any advice or tips for your fellow Simmers?
As far as the game goes, don't EVER let your Sim breed with Komei Tellerman. Unless of course you want the freakiest looking Sim children ever. As for life: Honesty is always the best policy. Be honest with others and be honest with yourself and you can never go wrong.
