SimMaster of the Month: April 2006

Get to know the site moderators! The Sims 2 community is large and growing. We have some fabulous moderators on the site who help other simmers in need, keep things running smoothly, moderate the boards, and help enforce the rules that Maxis has set up. Our SimMasters are players just like you. Each month we'll be asking one of our SimMasters some questions so you can get to know them better.

This month we talk to April's SimMaster of the month, the clear and judicious SimMasterFreaks!

Hi SimMasterFreaks. How long have you been a SimMaster?
Since December 2003.

What is your favorite part of the Sims 2?
I love the building elements to the game, if you put your mind to it you can create anything you like and share it with the community. I think that's what is so special about The Sims games.

What is your favorite thing about being a SimMaster?
I love being able to get to know the community while lending a helping hand at the same time, it can really be a lot of fun!

What is one thing you've learned from being a SimMaster?
I guess patience, you need a lot of it sometimes and when you start moderating I think you can adapt to it easily. I've also learned that if you treat someone with respect, you'll almost always get it back to you.

Are you enjoying Open For Business? How are you playing the game?
I think it's my favorite expansion yet, very challenging and lots of new things to play around with. I started a cafe/bakery and its a lot of fun. The first day my inventory went too fast and then my employees all quit. Things picked up though and now its turning a pretty good profit. I also love the servos, a lot of fun there.

Any advice or tips for your fellow Simmers?
Never forget to have fun and laugh, it will keep you young forever.
