SimMaster of the Month: September 2005
Get to know the site moderators! The Sims 2 community is large and growing. We have some fabulous moderators on the site who help other simmers in need, keep things running smoothly, moderate the boards, and help enforce the rules that Maxis has set up. Our SimMasters are players just like you. Each month we'll be asking one of our SimMasters some questions so you can get to know them better. This month we talk to September's SimMaster of the month, the creative and intuitive SimMasterJen!
Hi SimMasterJen. How long have you been a SimMaster?
Close to 3 years now, and loving every minute of it.
What is your favorite part of the Sims 2?
Playing the game and seeing how far I can advance with one particular family, and still keep it challenging and interesting, and writing stories.
What is your favorite thing about being a SimMaster?
That at times I need to be tough, and down the line, but I also never forget to give respect in order to develop mutual respect.
What is one thing you've learned from being a SimMaster?
Patience, and to not take things personally.
You are an active Sims storyteller as well as a SimMaster. Do you have any tips for the community who want to make stories?
I love telling stories about life as being older I have a substantial amount of life experience, so I can share that with fellow simmers in the form of stories. I hope they can take something from my stories away with them that will give them some food for thought about their own life or simply extend their imagination. In other words write for the audience that will be reading them.
Any advice or tips for your fellow Simmers?
Use the Sims 2 to live out your fantasies and have fun, but don’t thrust your own values or morals on to each other. Accept that people have different ideas to you that will not always coincide with your own, and that there are always rules no matter where you go or what you do in life. If there wasn’t, life would be uncontrollable and chaotic. We have seen evidence of this recently as we all know. So do not try to change someone to fulfil your own needs, accept them for who they are and all your needs will be met.
Thanks for Chatting with us SimMasterJen!
