SimMaster of the Month: December 2005
Get to know the site moderators! The Sims 2 community is large and growing. We have some fabulous moderators on the site who help other simmers in need, keep things running smoothly, moderate the boards, and help enforce the rules that Maxis has set up. Our SimMasters are players just like you. Each month we'll be asking one of our SimMasters some questions so you can get to know them better. This month we talk to December's SimMaster of the month, the steadfast and sure SimMasterMatt!
Hi SimMasterMatt. How long have you been a SimMaster?
I have been a SimMaster ever since TheSims.com opened its doors back in January of 2000. Before then, I was a Mayor at Simcity.com for a couple years.
What is your favorite part of the Sims 2?
My favorite part of Sims 2 would have to be the building and architecture features. I can spend hours and hours working on building a house and making every detail perfect. The added ability of being able to share my creations with the community fuels my desire to keep on building.
What is your favorite thing about being a SimMaster?
I love being part of such a large and diverse community that shares the same passion. Keeping the community a safe place for everyone and sharing my learning experiences are two things I enjoy the most. The wealth of knowledge the community has provided me is also something I am grateful for.
What is one thing you've learned from being a SimMaster?
One thing that I have learned through being a SimMaster is to be patient and to keep a cool head when things get tough. When people are given the respect they deserve, you are bound to get it back.
Vampires or Zombies?
Zombies.
Any advice or tips for your fellow Simmers?
To quote Walt Disney, "Laughter is America's most important export." Never loose your sense of humor, and always have fun.
Thanks for Chatting with us SimMasterMatt!
