Wow! Well I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Jessica and I'm very addicted to The Sims 2 (on my free time that is!). I've been really inspired by so many people's blogs and Legacy Challenges (especially Greetings From Mt. Geneva by Jen!) that I really wanted to post about my own Legacy Challenge. Unfortunately, I was already on my 3rd generation with the 4th one on the way and I really did not want to start over again. I was really worried that I didn't have any pictures of early on. Well I checked Story Mode, and guess what! I did! Not that many, but I managed to get all the important events! Well I was so excited about that I figured I might as well just make a blog. But sadly, I am just a mere teenager with no job or money so I can not afford a website to keep it on. But whatever, right? TheSims2.com is just as great! Well anyways, first I'm going to recap all that has been happening with my Legacy Challenge, and hopefully as clear as possible so none of you are confused! Let's begin! Enjoy!

Wow, what memories! This is Jerry Paloma, founder of the Paloma Family. This here on the toilet is his lovely wife Christy Stratton. This is such a random picture, but it was the only one I had of Christy and Jerry in the shack. Oh well. Not very glamorous, is it? Well I won't make you look at it too long! On to the next picture!

This is Jerry sitting in his new home. Still, not very glamorous, but it is definitely an improvement! I think Jerry was sad at the time this picture was taken. What an expression! Well whatever it was, he got over it quickly enough!

This is the madeover Christy with her new daughter, Kiara. Now, you're probably wondering why in the world there is a dresser in the bathroom, right? Well if I can remember right, I didn't have enough space in the rest of the house and I had to have a dresser for the clothes I had just bought. So behold, the dresser in the bathroom. Don't worry, it's not there anymore!

This is lovely Kiara all grown up into a teen. I was dumb enough not to take any pictures of her when she was a child. But between you and me, she didn't look too different. So I think you can probably guess how she looked. Now about the aspiration, I really do not know. I'm pretty sure I rolled a Popularity Sim. I hated it, I know that. It was either Popularity or Romance. Oh well.

This is poor old Jerry with the flu! He had a very hard job at the time (don't remember what) and he couldn't stay in bed too long. He eventually got over it thank goodness! It's so frustrating to have him kneel over and cough continuosly at the most random times. Not as irritating as the ones that cry for an hour before they do what you're told! Oh well, I guess! If the poor sim is going through a horrible time in their life, they should be able to cry, right........?

Here's madeover Kiara having her first kiss with George (last name?). It took me a while, if I remember right. I think he turned her down about two times before this. Poor Kiara. I would feel so unwanted...

OOPS! Kiara got busted! That's what you get for going out at night without your parent's permission with some boy you just met! Hehe. I may sound a bit too much like my mother right now, so it's best if we just move right along, shall we?

Jerry's all grown up. Poor thing though. I just remodeled the house and splurged a bit. Couldn't afford carpet or wallpaper. Oh well, I don't think he was too affected by having his 54th birthday party in the grass...... Around this time I got infected with the stupid carpool bug. The one where the car comes and you tell them to go to work and as the action is flying up to the queue(sp?) line, it disappears. I got so frustrated after a few warnings about missing work, I decided to move them into a new house. I had my fingers crossed and hoped I wouldn't be infected again.

This is Baby Kelly I think. Second daughter of Jerry and Christy Paloma. She's sound asleep in her pretty little crib. Isn't she cute?

Baby Kelly is now Toddler Kelly! I hate how all the toddlers look the same until you change their outfits. It gets really annoying sometimes. Oh well, their cuteness makes up for it, right?

Here's Kiara. She's a big adult now! She's in the new house, wallpaper and flooring included. I didn't really like it all that much to tell you the truth. It was boring to me and it was symmetrical. Not too interesting. Well that wouldn't matter I would find out soon enough.......

This Pao Mellon. He is the mailman and I figured he would be the right person for Ms. Kiara Paloma. Well she turned out to be Mrs. Kiara Mellon after they got married. Oops! I have a thing with trying to keep the Paloma name throughout the Challenge and I had just made my intended heir a Mellon. (Hehe) Well I still had Kelly left, right? I wanted to move Pao and Kiara out at that time but common sense hit me. If I moved them out now and Jerry and Christy died, I would have to end my Challenge. Kelly was still a toddler at this time and I had a high feeling that my founder and his wife would die before she became a teenager. So I figured I'd wait for another 10 days or so. No harm done.

Now it was time for Christy to have a go at 54! How sad. It feels like only yesterday she was sitting on the toilet in the little shack she called home with her beloved husband Jerry. Only not really. It seemed like forver just to get her to the elder stage! Wow. For some reason I get so bored, so quickly with this. But I think now that I've been making this album, I'm more interested in it. The sad thing is though, I haven't been keeping score. So I'll have to do it with my memory, just like I did with this part of the album! Ok, well enough of my rambling, on with the show!

Here's Kelly grwoing up into a child. I just love tihs picture. The Paloma/Mellon family all cheering her on from behind while she jumps(quite literally) into toddlerhood!

Oh gosh! I forgot about this! Poor Kiara was pregnate with the 3rd generation and her hunger was down so low. She was sleeping and I clicked on her and it was already red. Everybody else was doing something so I couldn't have them cook anything for her so I was left no choice but to get her up and make something really quick. Stupid me though. I chose Make Dinner instead of the quicker Have A Snack. Then all of a sudden (and may I add, right after she had finished making dinner and was about to grab a plate) the grim reaper comes out of no where. By that time I was ready and got Jerry up out of bed just in case I needed him. I had him plead for her life and it worked! Yay! Go Jerry! He's definitely the Paloma hero!

This is Pao and Kiara getting married finally. I realized they weren't married yet so I had to hurry up and throw a wedding party. After this is when I found out about her last name and decided I continue the legacy with Kelly instead.

Oh no! Poor Christy! She seems rather happy though. She was in platinum (Yay!) so I got a platinum grave, of course. No all I needed to do was get Jerry the Platinum grave and I'd be set!

No! Only Gold aspiration. He was at work until 6:00 and so I could not possbily get his aspiration up to platinum. The grim reaper came as soon as he got out of the car. :-( Goodbye Jerry!

Wow. I've left out so many things since the last picture! Here's what happened:
Kiara gave birth to Nikki. This is her here being scared by her ghost grandmother Christy! Well anyways, so that meant I had Kiara, Pao, Kelly, and Nikki. I really wasn't too fond of Kiara and Pao anymroe for some reason. I really couldn't tell you why. So I still ahd child Kelly and baby Nikki. I was certain I was going to use Kelly as my heir (she was the only one with Paloma as her last name). But I was worried that something might happen if I just moved out Kiara, Pao, and Nikki and only left Kelly there (once she was a teenager, of course). So I wanted to keep Nikki with her. I wasn't sure if I could leave a toddler or child with a teenager all alone (I was stupid and didn't even see if I could) so I waited Nikki's entire childhood to move Kiara and Pao out. By that time Kelly was almost an adult. So I moved the two out and it was just Kelly and her niece Nikki. By the way, Kelly is a Fortune Sim and Nikki is a Romance Sim.

This is a great picture. Here is Kelly as an adult. She's flirting with Amin Sims (Future husband alert!) and Nikki has just turned into an adult. I believe that the look on her face is so horrible because Kelly and Amin did not even see a bit of her growing up into her adult stage! They were too busy flirting with each otehr to notice. I think Nikki was a bit upset with her poor aunt Kelly.

This is an up close picture of adult Nikki. She's got her father Pao's eyes. If you're wondering why she's dressed so provocatively...she was in her pajamas when she grew up and these were in the closet. They're the random choice for pajamas. So poor Nikki had to stand out in the front of her house in nothing but her bra and panties. I don't think she cared too much. Maybe because she's a Romance Sim?? Lol.

Here is Kelly and Amin right after Kelly proposed engagement too him. I though this was really hilarious. Since Kelly proposed to Amin, he is wearing the ring with the huge stone on it. He almost looks gay sort of...Lol. Maybe you can see it. Or maybe you already knew about this. I just though it was funny. Well that's the end of my recapping. This is where I am now. Except, Nikki and Brandon Lilliard are married, Kelly and Amin got married, Kelly is pregnant with the 3rd generation, and Nikki with the 4th! Oh also, my lot was again infected with the carpool bug so I moved them out of the neighborhood this time. I moved them into a new one called Paloma City. Now I'm having trouble with their careers. Their career level automatically goes to the top as soon as they get a new job. With all the inheritance money from Christy and Jerry though, I don't thinking anyone needs a job. They have $50,000. Oh well. I'm going to look for a hack that I might have downloaded to make this career thing happen. Wish me luck!

Here's the house! I'm very satisfied with this one! Can you see the cemetary on the left? How sad... Well I'm going to write out the family tree as best as possible. Here goes!

Yay! That was easier than expected.

Well since I had a close up of Nikki, I figured I would take one of the Paloma heir, Kelly. Here she is, pregnant if you can tell. Sad thing is, it's the 3rd generation that she's pregnant with. Nikki is pregnant with the 4th generation but as you all know, she's not the heir and her last name is Mellon. So I have to wait for Kelly and Amin's baby or babies ;-) to grow into adults until I have the official 4th generation. Bummer.
