At least husband Phil is close at hand and her mother Ellen is helping Cheryl take care of the younger children.
Belinda is worried though: she has left behind 6 children that need their parents and no way to get home. What was she thinking when she decided to get pregnant again? At the moment, she can hardly afford to feed herself, and the rest of her children are living in pitiful conditions. To make matters worse, Phil has become resentful, and Belinda fears that he may be cheating on her.

Meanwhile, back at their main home Ellen had moved herself in with the kids to help Cheryl out. Cheryl is far to young to cope with so much responsibility, and where are their useless parents? Ellen finds herself cleaning up her daughters home and picking up after her grandchildren - she never imagined herself in this position at this stage in her life.
The kids were close to being put in foster care, but the local house was already over crowded with Gina Staines' 3 young children being taken in. Ellen couldn't bear to watch their lives get ruined.

Ellen gets half the day off work and uses it to clean up the babies and teach Jonny how to talk. The house is getting expanded during this time: Ellen shares a room with Jonny, the two kids sleep in another room and Cheryl gets her own bedroom; It's the first time in her life that Cheryl has had her own space.

The children are totally oblivious to the situation and still have fun, and they have no idea of the drama unfolding with their parents. Billy's birthday is coming up soon, so that's one less child that has to be constantly watched.

Cheryl feels used, so decides to continue with the 'talking' lesson with Celine. Hopefully, it will take her mind off Philip: things started off well but now look where she is. Cheryl thought they made a great couple.

The nanny shows up as Belinda leaves for work. Belinda isn't so sure she can keep affording to have the nanny around - she earns $280 per day and the nanny takes $150. The nanny certainly does a better job of taking care of the baby and the house better than she does; meals are always on time, Julia is always clean and so is the house.
