This is my entry for the Springtime Showcase 08. I hope everyone judging the competition likes it. Now I'll pass over to Jessie.

Hiya! I'll be showing what me and my family did this Spring!

Mummy planted some tomatoes in the garden one day.

Another day me and Mummy went fishing in the lake, and I caught my first fish! It was a largemouth bass and it's now hanging on my wall.

Weeds grew around the tomato patch so Mummy had to weed it. It took her ages.

Mummy made Maxie, my little brother, a twirly toy so he could have some fun this Spring. He played on it every day.

Because the days were getting longer and warmer, we started to eat dinner outside instead of in.

When it rained I went outside and played in the puddles. I got soaked!

Mummy made an Easter Egg Hunt in the garden so here's a picture of me looking for chocolate eggs in the garden.

On a really warm evening Mummy built a campfire and we sat around it for a while.

Then me and Maxie tried to catch some fireflies by the road.
