Hello everyone. I'm going to be showing you how to make one of the most delicious things I love to make in the Fall and in fact, all year long. I must warn you though, once you make this recipe you'll be making up excuses to have it again and again. Today's recipe is called, "Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread". It comes from my hometown's recipe book from many years ago.

First things first. You're going to need a bowl big enough to hold the ingredients. Don't be stingy now. You'll also want to a good spoon for the job unless you have a mixer in which case, what are you waiting for? Break it out!

Pour the batter into loaf pans (two). I've placed mine into a large cake pan, but I suggest putting the mixture into loaf pans. It tends to come out more like cake in the cake pan. Hm...go figure.

Remember to keep an eye on your loafs since you are going to need to test the center as you would a cake.

Let your Pumpkin Bread cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Also let it cool. I know how good it will smell and look, but if you want to taste the rest of your food that day I suggest you let it cool. The chocolate will still ooze out even when it's warm, I promise.

Interested in putting something with the Pumpkin Bread? Well I have a few favorites that go perfectly. This isn't in the recipe and it's totally up to you. You can put whipped cream cheese, or a cream cheese frosting (canned or homemade) or a good ol' scoop of good vanilla ice cream. Of course the bread is perfect alone and more often than not, it is how I serve and eat it. Bring it to your next party and you will be fighting to get your own slice.
