First we need to gather some ingredients. Let's see 1 30 oz can of pumpkin (use fresh if you have it) 2/3 c or 1 5 oz can of evaporated milk. (I use sweetened condense milk it gives the pie more body and a sweeter flavor) 2 eggs 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 deep dish pie shell

Mix the first six (6) ingredient together in large bowl.

Mix well.

Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for about 2 hours.

It's best when served warm with a dollup of Cool Whip Brand Topping. My favorite is the French Vanilla flavor. Add a few friends and family and have a wonderful time.
