First of all you have to go to the shops to buy your ingredients which are: 1 pack of minced beef steak (make sure it says steak) 1 pack of chilies (red or green there is no preference) 1 loaf of bread (If you don't already have some at home) 1 onion Olive oil (If you don't already have any at home) 1 Lettuce (If you want salad) Some carrots(Optional) Some Beetroot(Optional) Big frying potatos (If you want chips) Interesting fact: Did you know that most beef minces are actualy made from the cows heads, whereas beef steak mince is only made of the best parts, and most fast food shops use the none steak version.

When you get home from the shop un-pack your bags then wash your hands for extra hygeine, then get your butt over to your grill (If you have a barbecue you can use that), the best setting for your grill is gas mark 3-4.

Before you start, make sure you have crumbled up 3 slices of bread in the blender, you can do this by hand if you don't have this appliance. When they are fine crumbs pour them into a bowl and leave them until you need them.

Next you need to finley chop the onion (you can use more if you want) then chop the chilies (You can use as many as you want, I usualy use one), makesure you take the little seeds out unless you want your mouth to end up on fire. Important info: Do not rub your eyes until you have washed your hands otherwise your eyes will be on fire aswel.

Now you can start on your burger mix, first take the mince from the packet and transfer to a large mixing bowl.

Then add the breadcrumbs and a table spoon of olive oil (this helps it stick together). Now add the chilie and onion, give it a good mix and then the mix is ready for shaping.

Roll small/large handfuls of the mixture into balls, them squash them, remember they don't have to be the perfect shape because they are going to end up getting eaten anyway.

Then wack them in the grill for around twenty minuets, you will have to check them , because the strength of your grill may be different to mine, so it is advisable to check them after 15 minutes (You can check them by cutting them in half, they need to be not pink in the middle, unless you like it that way).

While we are waiting for them to cook we can make the salad, first you need to wash you vegetables in cold water (with your lettuce you will also need to peel off the first layer of leaves). Then you need to chop the lettuce into strips or chunks(however you like it). Then grate the carrot and beetroot .

Then place it in a bowl and mix together well, you can add a dressing if you would like. For the dressing you will need: 1 clove Garlic(you can add more if you want) Vineger Olive oil Basil This bit is easy, mash up the garlic and put it in to a clean jar, the add two teaspoons of vinegar(one table spoon), then add the same amount of olive oil.Sprinkel in a pinch of basil.Put the lid on the jar and shake. Then pour onto your salad and give it a good mix.

Now your burgers should be ready (remember to check them), if they are still pink just pop them back in for another 5-10 minutes.Serve them with salad or chips (It's your choice). Now they are ready to eat. If you are a vegatarian, you can use fish instead, all you have to do is follow instructions for fish cakes and add all the non meat ingredients that have gone into these burgers.

Well that's goodbye from me. Remember keep safe and don't chop your fingers off, and also remember to wash your hands after handling raw meats or you might end up with a tummy ache, do not copy of sims and just eat your food without washing your hands. Anyway Good-bye hope to see you again soon.
