Hello again! Today,I'm gonna be showing you how to make brownies! But,not normal brownies! These ones have a unusual twist to them,as I'll be adding mint chocolates to them! Now for all the important stuff:
INGREDIENTS 100 g/4 oz of butter 175 g/6 oz of sugar 225 g/8 oz of flour 100 g/4 oz of cocoa powder 3 table spoons of golden syrup 1/2 table spoon of baking powder Pinch of salt 2 eggs 225 g/8 oz of semi-sweet chocolate,chopped 225g/4 oz of pecan nuts,chopped 16 square chocolate covered,soft centred mints
This dish should take around 15 minutes to prepare and 30-35 minutes to cook.

First,preheat the oven to 180 C/350F/Gas Mark 4.Line a 23cm/9 inch square baking tin with baking parchment.

Next,beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add the flour,cocoa powder,goldern syrup,baking powder,salt and eggs.Beat until mixed.

Then,stir in the chopped chocolate pieces and nuts.Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 20-30 minutes.

After that,remove the tin from the oven and cover the top of the brownies with the squares of chocolate covered soft centred mints.

Then,return the tin to the oven and bake for a further 5 minutes.Remove from the oven and place brownies onto a cooling rack.When cool,cut into 16 squares.
