Hello everyone! I'm Kbarrick4's self-sim, and today I'm going to share with you her super secret meatloaf recipe.

What are we doing outside, you ask? Well, that's because the secret to any recipe is using the freshest ingredients possible. Just like Kbarrick4, I love growing my own produce right in my own backyard.

I'm just going to grab some of these mouthwatering peppers, and I'll meet you back in the kitchen.

Ok, as you can see here I have a couple of bell peppers, an onion, and a few other veggies. I'm only going to use the peppers and onions for my meatloaf, the other stuff is for another recipe. I like to use one green pepper and either a red or yellow pepper for sweetness. One medium sized onion should be enough.

For the rest of our ingredients we're going to use:
2 slices of day-old bread 3-4 pounds of ground meat 1 teaspoon of salt 1 pinch of pepper 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 2 tablespoons of worchestershire sauce Ketchup, for covering in a thin layer
Making meatloaf is never exact, though. Feel free to play around with the amount until you find what you like best.

Now we're just going to dice our bell peppers, and then our onion. You can use a food processor, but I like to chop them myself. Hey, no crying in the kitchen!

Then we'll toss them in a large bowl and set them aside.

Next, we'll get out our ground meat. I like to use hamburger, but ground turkey would work just as well and be a little leaner.

Take your larger bowl with the veggies in it, and fold your ground meat into it. Folding means to turn it over so that the ingredients have JUST become mixed. Don't over mix, or your meat will become tough!

Next, we're going to take some of that day-old bread from yesterday's grilled cheese and tear it into bite-sized pieces. It's a good idea to use stale bread - yes stale! Using this as a filler will add moisture and help our meatloaf retain it's flavor. When you're done tearing, just fold it into the veggie/meat mixture.

The final ingredient is our spices. We're going to add a pinch of salt, some pepper, a little garlic powder, and some worcht...whester...um...worchestershire sauce!

Remember, a little bit goes a long way!

Finally, we're going to take our meat mixture and shape it into a neat mound, like a loaf of bread. You don't have to worry about it being pretty, just make sure it's firmly packed together. Don't forget to cover it with ketchup!

Stick that into a large pan and tuck it into a pre-heated oven.

Great job! Now all we have to do is wait. At 375 degrees, our meatloaf should take about 45 minutes to and hour to cook. You can use a fork to check the middle, and when all the pink is gone...
