Hey! Welcome to "Cake Chaos!-How to make a Chocolate cake" This is Lucie(left) and Ellie(right) who are going to be helping out with me today! This is a simple recipe that you can make really quickly. And its great to get the kids involved to!

First start of with your kitchen. Make sure its clean and easy to work in. It doesn't matter if its massive, or tiny, you can still work wonders. Clean cabinets, all equipment and floors(you don't want to be slipping in anything!)

Let's take a look in the fridge. All the things you need for this cake are basic kitchen essentails.

You will need: 1 cup Flour 1 cup Sugar 1/2 table spoon Salt 1 table spoon Baking Soda 3 table spoons of cocoa 1 table spoon vanilla essense 1/2 cup Milk 2 eggs 1/4 butter Icing and chocolate chips (optional)

1. Mix butter and sugar together till soft. Then, when done, add eggs by portions. 2. Sift the dry ingredients together (flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa)

3. Stir the liguid ingredients into the mixture.(Milk and Vanilla Essense)

1. Pour the mixture into an 8 inch greased and floured pan.

When ready, take the cake out and let it cool. Then you can decorate the cake however you want! Frost it with icing, sprinkle with chocolate chips...anything!
