"Hi there, I'm Lucy Burb. Since my mom is expecting a little one soon and she's always hungry, I decided to make her a special treat. My famous "Everything but the Kitchen Sink Cookie Bars." These cookie bars are so good that I've caught my mom eating the dough right from the bowl a few times. *giggle giggle* So let's go make these scrumptious concotions.

"Make sure you stir very well. There's nothing I hate more than having flour stuck to the sides or bottom of my bowl. We want this batter to be perfect."

"Be careful, the oven is very hot. Don't burn yourself. Let these bake about 45 minutes or until they are golden brown. We might as well do something else unless you just want to stand in the kitchen the entire time they bake *giggle giggle*."

"Lucy dear, you have to tell me where you got this recipe from," she says to her daughter as the aroma glides through the air. "Well, my home economic's teacher wanted my group to come up with something different yet delicious for dessert. Since none of us could decide between brownies and cookies, I came up with this variation."

"Oh the smell is heavenly! You think your dad wants his piece? Jennifer asks as she reaches for the slice in front of her. Good thing Dad is asleep or the situation could've gotten ugly.

"Well that's it for me, hope you enjoyed my recipe. We'll just be quiet while my mom finishes off dad's piece. Don't worry, I put him a slice up where she'll never find it. See ya later!"
Note * I have made these for my kids as it was so much easier than dropping cookies and they try to eat them all up if you don't stop them. Hope you enjoyed the recipe! *
