Hello! Happy Holidays! :) I'm Chrissie and this is my family, with my brother on the left, my dad in the middle, my mom on the right, and me sitting down! Today I am going to show you my special recipe for an appetizer that I adopted from my mom! Thank you mom! :) It is a deviled egg recipe I got a couple of years ago from her during the 4th of July, but it works year-round! I just thought up the name of "Don't Give the Devil Eggs" the other day, but I like it! So, let's get started!

So, first things first, after washing your hands, is to gather your ingredients! This is a semi-complicated list, so pay attention! You'll need: -Eggs (Make enough to satisfy your crowd, each full egg will translate to 2 deviled eggs. Be sure to also cook 3 extra eggs. Here's an example. Say you have 4 people in the crowd. If you make 4 full eggs, that will be 8 deviled eggs, with 2 for each person, plus the 3 extra. You can make however many you wish.) -Mustard -Mayonnaise -Salt and Pepper (optional) -Paprika (optional) -Sliced black olives (optional)

Step 1 Boil all the eggs on medium to high for 15 minutes. The warmth will feel nice if you have been out in the cold for a while. You can also add some salt now if you wish. While the eggs are boiling, you can set up for the rest of the process. You will need a large bowl, a butter knife, a tablespoon, and a potato masher. Sorry if I forget anything right now, my brain is a little slow from the cold! :) Once the eggs are done and have cooled for a while, peel them. Put 3 of them (preferably the bad-peeled ones that were split in the peeling process, if you are a bad peeler like me) in the large bowl. Next, cut open the other eggs length wise, take the yolks out, and put the yolks in the bowl as well. Put the empty egg white halves to the side for later use.

Step 2 Use the potato masher to mash everything in the bowl. Be sure to mash thoroughly! Once that is done, add the following ingredients: -About 2-4 circles of mustard around the edge of the mixture, depending on how much you like mustard. -Then put about 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise in the center of the mixture. -Next you can add some salt and pepper, if you so wish. -You can also add some paprika now, but there will be another time to add paprika later if you don't want to mix it in.

Step 3 Now mix everything together in the bowl until all the mustard and mayonnaise is mixed in. I use the word "mix" too much in too many forms! Ha! Anywho, if you're real sneaky, you can sneak a taste to see if it's done- just be careful, it might be too tasty to stop! The next, and final, step is to prepare the eggs for serving! Spoon even-sized amounts of the mixture into the empty egg white halves. If there is any extra mixture, you can eat, save it for eating later, or you can wait a couple of pages. If you wish, you can sprinkle on some paprika now if you didn't earlier. Also, you can put a black olive slice on each egg for that extra pizazz! (I know I spelled that wrong!) Now go serve!

You'll be watching your eggs one minute and the next, you'll be searching for them! These eggs will go by quick, and will steal the show from the turkey! Look! My brother loves them so much, he is coming to get some in his bathing suit! And I got it on camera! Ha! I'm going to put this on the web, wait it already is, huh? Oh well! Just watch your guests gulp these down before you put the plate on the table! Now if you want even more delicious fun, turn the page!

That's right! You can make "Don't Give the Devil Eggs" sandwiches! All you have to do is put the egg mixture between two slices of your favorite bread. You can even put some paprika or olives on them! These sandwiches are great for any meal, or again, they can be an appetizer!
