HOW TO TAKE GREAT PICTURES

LordTyser: Welcome! My name is LordTyser, and I'm the author of the hit story, "Models in Paradise".

LordTyser: I'm here today as a request from many of my fans who ask me, "How do you get your Sims to pose and show expression?" Well, I'm here to tell you how.

LordTyser: Now, some of you might think that you gotta be pro at taking really good pictures, or ya gotta catch your Sim at the right time and place.

LordTyser: That's not true.

LordTyser: You can actually control WHAT you want your Sim to do, and WHEN you want em to do it!

LordTyser: There's only two things ya need in order to make this possible.

Tyser: The first thing is patience! Don't be quick to settle for just any picture. Take several shots of the same picture in different angles.

Tyser: After that, go through your pictures and decide which one is the best to put in your story.

LordTyser: Sometimes I spend hours making just 3 pictures! If I think I can do a better picture, I'll set my Sims up for another shot.

LordTyser: I take great pride in my girls and I want them to look they're best!

LordTyser: Now listen closely! Cause I'm only gonna say it once.

LordTyser: The second thing ya need to take great pictures is......

LordTyser: CHEAT CODES! Yeah, that's right I said it. LordTyser is a low-down, dirty cheater!

LordTyser: Sorry, but sometimes ya gotta bend the rules to get what your after.

LordTyser: Now, I'm not talking about programs or hacks. Heck no!

LordTyser: Actually, the cheats are already programed in your game by 'EA Games' themselves!

LordTyser: All ya gotta do is hold down the keys, Ctrl+Shift+C, on your keyboard.

LordTyser: A Text Bar will appear on the top of your screen and THAT'S where you enter your cheat codes! Don't worry! Everytime you exit your game, all the cheats you entered will be gone!

LordTyser: C'mon. Let me show you some examples.

LordTyser: This will help ya take some cool pics.

LordTyser: OK! I'm gonna let my two sweethearts, Vix 'n Clover, show you how to "STRIKE A POSE". Ready girls?

Vix: Oh yeah! You Bet!
Clover: Ready and waiting!

Vix: Don't you worry! I'll give you the best performance, even if I gotta pick up Clover's slack!

LordTyser: Ha Ha! Well ain't you the sweetest thing.

Clover: I heard that.....

LordTyser: Ok, say ya wanna make your Sims "Strike a Pose" for the camra. First thing, bring up your text bar by holding Ctrl+Shift+C.

LordTyser: Next, type in the Cheat Code: moveobjects on
This will allow you to move ANY object in the game, including your Sims!

LordTyser: Ok, let's find a nice spot to pose.

LordTyser: First place a mirror on the spot your gonna do your pose. Ya need one mirror for each Sim that's gonna be doing this.

LordTyser: Next, have your Sims walk up to the mirror. Get them in position by clicking on the mirror and have your Sim do a quick animation, like 'Gussy Up'.

LordTyser: That way, when your ready to "Strik a Pose", they'll be in place and ready to go at a moment's notice.

LordTyser: Once they're ready, have ONE of your Sims to an Animation to the Mirror. Here, Vix is 'Checking Out' herself.

LordTyser: Wait about 1 second and then have the other Sim do the same animation.

LordTyser: When you see a great pose, PAUSE the game!

LordTyser: Now remove the mirrors you had in place by deleting them.

LordTyser: Click and rotate your Sim so she's facing the camra.

LordTyser: Remember, once you entered the Cheat Code, you can move your Sims around as if they were furniture.

LordTyser: Now rotate your other Sim so they're both facing the same direction.

LordTyser: Add some decorations in the background and all that's left is to zoom in and take the shot!

LordTyser: Your Sims are now "Striking a Pose"!

LordTyser: Great job! I knew you could do it!

LordTyser: Now let's leave these two and head to our next example....

Vix: Hey! You said we would get to be the Stars of this presentation!

Clover: Yeah! What about our deal! I wanna get paid!

LordTyser: Meet Marko! He's another character from my Story.

LordTyser: Today he's gonna show us our second example.

LordTyser: How to do "Action Moves".

Marko: Oh! Let us do the one where I am sneaking around Paradise Mansion!

LordTyser: Ah, that's a great example! Good thinking, Marko!

LordTyser: This next example is a little easier. You can make new action poses by interacting with other objects. This also requires you to use the Cheats.

LordTyser: Let's check it out.

LordTyser: First, make sure you have a fireplace in the house. If you don't, make one. You can delete it later if you don't want it in your story.

LordTyser: Next, have your Sim walk up and light the fireplace

LordTyser: Just as he's getting in a crouching position, PAUSE the game!

LordTyser: Now, make sure you have the 'moveobjects' cheat turned on and move your Sim to another location.

LordTyser: Let's put him outside, next to the window. Notice he's still carrying the lighter in his hand. Not a problem.

LordTyser: Just change the camra angle so the lighter is out of sight.

LordTyser: Now, all that's left is to zoom in some and take the shot.

LordTyser: THERE! You now have a sneaky burglar picture!

LordTyser: Wow! It's just that simple! Try experimenting with different objects and let your imagination run WILD!

Marko: Oh! Let us do the one where I am flexing my muscles, yes?

LordTyser: (sigh)

LordTyser: Look, Marko. I only got time for one example, ok? So why don't you go sit down somewhere and read a magazine or somethin.

LordTyser: LET'S GO PEOPLE! WE'RE MOVING ON!

LordTyser: Alright! I'm here with my two beautiful ladies, Monica and Diana!

LordTyser: These hot chicks are gonna show us our third example. Which is....

LordTyser: Face expressions!

LordTyser: Now........face expressions are a little more difficult cause it's more about LUCK than it is SKILL.

LordTyser: One Sim is easy, but tryin to have multiple Sims do a specific expression is a lot harder.

LordTyser: So, to make it a little easier, we're gonna use another Cheat Code. Go ahead and open up your Text Bar and type in: slowmotion 5

LordTyser: 'slowmotion 5' will make your Sim five times slower than normal. You can go as high as 8, but that might be too slow. To change the speed back to normal, just type in: slowmotion 0

LordTyser: Let's get started, shall we?

Diana: I don't think so.

LordTyser: W-What? Excuse me? Uh, your jokin, right??

LordTyser: Diana! Baby! Sweetheart! Y-Your killin me here.

Diana: I'm not gonna dance around like some fool while you try to make sense of it. It's pointless.

LordTyser: But, think of the fans! They need you! I need you!

LordTyser: (sigh) Fine. I guess we won't be seeing you on the next Chapter, will we?

Diana: You wouldn't dare!

LordTyser: Hey, accidents happen baby. How would you like to star in your own 'Death Scene'?

Diana: Alright! Alright! FINE! Have it your way...

Diana: I'll do the stuip presentation if it'll make you happy! Ugh!

LordTyser: Oh! Well then....

LordTyser: Let's get started!

LordTyser: As before, find a nice spot to set up for the shot.

LordTyser: Next, add the two Sims you want to show expression.

LordTyser: Now add ANOTHER two Sims. This second group will help with the expressions for your first group.

LordTyser: Go ahead and turn on your slowmotion cheat. Make sure it's set to number 5 and not 0.

LordTyser: Now, have your second group interact with your first group. For example, Diana is arguing with Ruby. While Rosa is about to tickle Monica.

LordTyser: The Sims should be moving in slow motion. This makes it easier for you to catch the expressions you want on they're face. Once you've found that expression, PAUSE the game!

LordTyser: Remove your second group so that the only Sims remaining are your first two.

LordTyser: Click and drag your Sims into the position you want for the shot.

LordTyser: Notice how it now looks like Diana and Monica are interacting with each other rather than the second group. All that's left is to position your camra up close so that you get a good look at the expression on they're face. Have them say whatever you want!

Diana: Monica! I AM your mother!

Monica: NO! That can't be! That's impossible! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

LordTyser: BINGO! That's all there is to it. There are HUNDREDS of different face expression. Experiment with them and find the ones that suits you best!

LordTyser: Whoa! It looks like we're out of time!
