Dylon slow danced with Lauren on their midnight date on the mini-golf course.
"How are you feeling?" he asked her
"You were right, it's the quickest way to get platinum, and it's so much better than looking at the stars through the telescope. I've got a star right here in my arms." she whispered sweetly.
Lauren's age meter was only a tiny fraction away from full. Dylon's looked like he had at least a week to go.
The wants panel in the date rolled around to 'woohoo with Dylon/Lauren in the car', more than 3,000 points worth.
"Would you like to save that one for tomorrow?" he asked her.
"We might not have time, I get home from work too late" she despaired.
"Working? Tomorrow? Possibly your last day? Can't you take the day off?" he puzzled.
"I don't want the children to think there's anything wrong" she told him.
"I'll be waiting for you when you get home" he assured her.

Delores had the day off. Korey now works in the day. Delores got to work on trying for love number five .. there'd only be 15 to go after that. She called the interesting Romance doctor she met at little Lennard's toddler birthday at Lillith Pleasant's house. Don Lothario. She asked him on a home date. He didn't turn her down.

After only a few short, romantic interactions with him, they became best friends. It wasn't enough to push it over to love though, she would need a second date with him.
"My best friend Tina is so lucky, she only has to get to the top of the Slacker career and she'll be set for life" Delores despaired.
"Tina? Calliente?" Don asked.
"Yes, do you know her?" Delores asked back.
"Um .. I know her mother, Nina .. we were .. and there's still a crush between us" he admitted.
"Nina? Oh I don't know now if this is such a good idea" she worried, "Tina and I, we kinda stay out of each other's loves, except the Daniel thing .. but that was different .. I don't know if her mother's .. crush? counts"
"No one's going to know?" said Don.

"I have to go anyway, the children are home" said Delores, kissing him goodbye quick as she could.
"Delores, please call me again" he insisted, "we can't deny this chemistry"
"Goodbye Don, go now please" she hurried him.
Saved by the bus.

Delores and her two daughters, Carol and Adelle made their way over to Tina's house. Tina's mother Nina arrived as they did, along with Tina's little brother Richard.

Lillith Pleasant arrived, with Kitty not far behind her.
Delores and her brother Lyle, her cousin Kitty, plus Tina and her cousins Brian and Scotch, then a little bit later Tina's sister Heather, and later on townies Kendra, Randy, Orlando, Ivy, Ricky and sometimes Alvin .. they all hung out together as children and teenagers.

Tina's step father Mitch arrived behind Nina. They live with their son Richard just across the road.
Lillith was a little wary, she knows that Nina is her sister's ex rival for Dustin, not that she cares too much about that. But she has gotten to know her as her husband Kennedy's fellow Mayor, she has a certain respect there.
It's both Lillith's father's request to look out for her possible 'three half siblings' and Nina's odd request for her father's gravestone for Tina. That is what she's wary of. Part of her is curious.

At Farrah Calliente's house, Tina's sister who she hasn't met yet, and Heather's twin, Dorian the ex policeman - Farrah's husband, has arrived home from work in Intelligence. He's brought a colleague, Kendra McCarthy home with him.
Angela was waiting on the kerb, she'd been invited along with Dustin and family for a little party. Of course Heather's new family were also invited, including Gordon the ex burglar.
Gordon warned Angela not to start any trouble.
"Me?" she asked in disbelief at the hypocrasy.

Farrah held Fred, her and Dorian's new baby boy to his birthday cake, proud as anything.
Penny stood behind her half sister, excited to meet her new little nephew. She admired Farrah, she is a Fortune sim too. She thought Farrah had done things the best way by focusing on her career before getting married and having a family, and planned on doing the same with her boyfriend Orlando Bertino.

"Carol stay out of that fridge, there'll be cake soon" said Delores. Carol tended to snack a lot and was becoming quite chubby when her teen birthday wasn't far around the corner.

Carol put down the juice onto the counter, as Tina held Teddy at his birthday cake.

Close family friends Wendy and Leo arrived, Delores' Aunty and Uncle, and Nina's best friends.They had closely watched Tina grow as they gave their support to Nina through her separation from Dustin.
Adelle watched curiously as the little baby seemed to have some sort of importance to her.

Everyone began to cheer and wave their clackers for little Teddy. Nina took a moment to process the fact that she's a grandmother.

Then she waved her clacker with all her gusto!

Tina blew out the candles for Teddy, watching her mother for approval. Nina smiled proudly at ther daughter.

Teddy grew up into a bright red-haired boy in Tina's arms.
Tina began to feel the pressure of that engagement ring on her finger, as though it was nagging her while her fiance stood behind her.
Delores stretched her sore workout leg as she thought about what Lillith must be thinking of this whole thing.

Teddy looks a lot like Daniel. Lillith thought so too. She could sense that Tina was a good person underneath all the scandal, and she could see how much of a supporting, loving family and friends were around her - a fine environment for her growing little half-brother.

Delores watched in interest as Adelle made her way across the room. She wondered when it would be the right time to tell Adelle of her connection to this family, in particular Teddy.

Heather and Gordon, Dustin and Angela, Dorian, Penny and Beau, Kendra and Rojer all gathered to watch Fred at his cake.
Gordon tried to contain his anger toward Angela. She had pushed him first out the front, which no one had seen. Dorian had only just stepped out of his carpool as he was warning her back.

Rojer wondered who the other old man, Beau was. He knew his grandpa Dustin.

They all began to cheer and blow their party horns! Rojer was so excited to have his new cousin to play with next door. Beau remembered the beautiful wedding he attended there last, between Farrah and Dorian.

Everyone stopped cheering. Penny ran away crying!.

And so did Rojer!
"You filthy tramp! How could you bring him here?" Angela couldn't help herself, while all she could see was Heather's big hair and buttocks right in front of her at the cake.

Everyone including Heather cleared the area. Fred's candles went out. Dustin stood ready. Beau watched his niece, not quite catching onto the full situation. He wished he had've intervened with Dustin's family much earlier. Perhaps now that he and Arianna have plenty of time on their hands, and that he's become friends Nina's new family .. but would it be too little too late?

"You've ruined everything Gordon! How lucky you are Heather married you, or I would be using my authority to bring the law down on you so hard right now." Angela growled.
Angela is a Captain Hero.
Gordon is an ex burglar.
Dustin is also in a life of crime being a Criminal Mastermind, but Angela wears rose coloured glasses where he's concerned. As she would, he's her husband.
