The Sims 2 Podcast is a forum for the developers, creators, and all-around creative types responsible for bringing you The Sims 2 products you love so much to answers questions submitted by the Sims 2 community in a talk-radio-style format. The Sims 2 podcast is, in its simplest form, just an audio file (mp3) that you can download to your computer and listen to at your leisure. Links to the file can be found on the website to all existing podcasts.
That's cool, but is that all?
Nope - it's way cooler than that. Podcasts also use a couple of fancy-pants technologies called RSS and XML that allow you to subscribe to our (or any other) podcast, and have it automatically downloaded to your computer or supported audio playback device whenever a new episode is released!
Count me in! How do I subscribe?
Good question. Subscriptions are handled by a number of different, free software products. The most prominent application to support podcasting is the Apple iTunes audio player (version 4.9 and above only), and it's the only application we're actively supporting at the moment. If you have Apple iTunes installed, then simply click the link below to be taken to the The Sims 2 Podcast page within iTunes, where you'll be able to subscribe to The Sims 2 podcast.
