Interests:Reading a lot of novels. Lectura de muchas novelas... heh. Learning Spanish at the minute. >.< I can already speak relatively good German, which I've been doing since High School. Can't shake the English accent without feeling like a twonk, though. Feels too much like acting. So I speak German and Spanish in the English manner... which is to say... the lazy manner. Although I carried a conversation with three Germans in a pub the other week, and they didn't mind my lack of effort, after I explained my disinclination to feel twonk-like.
Novels I enjoy are mostly historical fiction/fantasy. Bernard Cornwell, and Tom Harper being the most recent favourites. Also love all of Robert Harris's novels. Keith Taylor's classic novels in the Bard series have been my favourites from being mismo jovenes... uh... really young. Twelve or something.
Always enjoyed arty endeavors in my spare time. Sold a painting at the Ferens Art Gallery Open Exhibition for $250! Ka-ching! (That's pounds. But for some reason this website doesn't recognise the symbol for British currency.) I aim to do the same this year. With digital art though. Maybe ask a little more, this time, and perhaps score some commissions. I'm not sure I got the memory "Sold a Masterpiece" but uh... the money came in handy. o.O
Also partial to spending time on The Sims 2 and 3. Though I rarely admit it when out and about with friends. Other games I play and enjoy regularly are games in the Total War series, Unreal Tournament 3, QuakeLive, Fallout 3, Assassin's Creed 1/2, and BioShock 1/2. About to start on Dragon Age: Origins... I hear it's a life-stealer... lucky for me then I have a employer who unwittingly pays me to do what I like on the night shift. *shifty eyes*
About Me:Currently getting to grips with working almost constant night shifts, which means plenty of time with my laptop, and the systems here, and not enough time at home. Except when sleeping! So it means plenty of time to write, draw, and read, whilst being paid. But obviously not being to write, draw, and read. So, don't say anything. *shifty eyes*
Oh and for those who search for whatever random reasons, I'm not registered as Recludere1 or any variation on any other websites. lol... I chose this username on a whim when I registered with EA. ;)
